Adam Sokol

Adam is the Director of Data Analysis & Research for the South Carolina Technical College System. In this role within the Division of Academics, Student Affairs & Research, he overseas research initiatives, prepares regular and ad hoc reports, and liaisons with institutional research staff across the system of 16 colleges. After serving in the United States Army, Adam earned two master’s degrees, one in teaching mathematics, and the other in Educational Psychology & Research from the University of South Carolina (UofSC). He quickly became known for creating efficiencies in data processing and analytics through writing computer code and has received recognition from his peers for his ability to report information in a clear and precise manner. Previously as the data coordinator in the College of Education at UofSC, Adam worked to organize the vast amounts of data in preparation for a National Council of Accreditation of Teacher Education site visit as part of the accreditation renewal process, which was done free of any stipulations. Adam continues to hold a high standard for reporting as he leads research activities.
